Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Forklift Operator, you perform high-level material handling, pallet replenishment, rack put-away, and outbound trailer loading using powered industrial trucks.
- High-Bay Replenishment & Put-Away: Retrieve reserve pallets from high-rack storage bays and lower them into active order selector pick slots to maintain continuous stock availability.
- Inbound & Outbound Loading: Safely drive forklifts into inbound shipping trailers to unload supplier pallets or load wrapped store-bound pallets onto outbound freight trailers.
- Equipment Inspection & Maintenance Logging: Perform mandatory daily pre-shift operator safety inspections on powered industrial equipment, logging battery levels and reporting mechanical issues immediately.
