Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Fresh Merchandise & Logistics Specialist focuses on the receiving, quality auditing, and visual merchandising of our perishable departments, including fresh produce, organic items, meats, and dairy cases. You unload daily agricultural delivery trucks, inspect dock temperature logs, build attractive product displays, and enforce strict cold-chain compliance. Continuous culling of damaged goods and FIFO stock rotation are vital to ensuring shoppers get peak-quality products. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the store facility (zero remote availability).

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED preferred. Requires physical capability to perform heavy lifting up to 45 lbs, stand continuously, and work inside cold cooler cases, alongside high attention to food safety.
