Role Description

The ALDI Weekend Student Associate role is specifically tailored for students who prefer to focus entirely on their college coursework during weekdays while earning top hourly wages on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend Student Associates support peak weekend customer traffic by executing fast POS checkout, restocking high-demand grocery items, maintaining aisle presentation, and keeping the sales floor spotless. This position allows students to maintain a full-time academic workload Monday through Friday while earning steady income and gaining professional teamwork experience. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store (zero remote availability).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume weekend customer checkout lanes at seated registers, maintaining high scan speeds and payment accuracy.
• Restock fast-selling weekend grocery inventory, produce tables, and beverage aisles rapidly.
• Execute aisle conditioning, front-facing products, and clearing cardboard packaging into waste balers.
• Assist weekend shoppers politely, locating merchandise and addressing customer service inquiries.
• Perform regular store sweeps, clean spill hazards, and collect shopping carts from parking areas.
• Collaborate with shift leads to ensure smooth store closing routines on weekend evenings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical degree program (or High School Diploma/GED).
• Consistent availability to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Physical capability to stand, lift up to 45 lbs, bend, and move actively across the store.
• Reliable transportation and strong commitment to attendance.

• Job Type: Part-Time / Weekend Only (100% On-Site).
