Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Warehouse Associate, you select and build store-bound pallets inside a high-volume regional distribution center — using voice-directed picking technology to pull the correct product and case quantity for each store order, then stacking and wrapping the completed pallet to ALDI's load stability standard before it moves to the outbound dock.

• Voice-Directed Order Selection: Pick cases from designated warehouse slots following voice-directed picking prompts — confirming each case's slot location and quantity against the system instruction before placing it on the pallet, and correcting any slot discrepancy immediately to prevent a short-shipped store order.
• Pallet Building & Load Stability: Build each store's pallet in the correct stacking sequence to protect product integrity during transit — placing heavier, sturdier cases at the base and lighter or fragile items on top — then shrink-wrap the completed pallet to ALDI's stability standard before staging it in the correct outbound door lane.
• Productivity & Accuracy Standards: Maintain the warehouse's case-per-hour selection rate while sustaining a near-zero picking error rate, using the RF scanner to verify every case against the order manifest and immediately flagging any product with a damaged case or an expiration date issue rather than letting it ship.
