Role Description

As an ALDI Store Manager, you serve as the executive business leader of a multi-million dollar retail location. You maintain end-to-end accountability for store financial performance (P&L), operational excellence, talent recruitment and development, customer experience, and regulatory compliance. Store Managers lead by example, balancing administrative duties—such as labor budgeting, inventory forecasting, and weekly scheduling—with active hands-on management on the sales floor alongside their team. This position requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and an unwavering commitment to ALDI's operational standards. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store with zero remote or work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive total store financial results, managing operational budgets, payroll expenses, labor productivity, and total inventory loss.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop store associates and supervisory staff, building a high-performing team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing continuous coaching, constructive feedback, and career development plans.
• Oversee store inventory procedures, including product ordering, receiving audits, price accuracy, and merchandising compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to company customer service guidelines, resolving customer concerns and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Prepare, manage, and revise weekly employee schedules to align with customer traffic patterns and labor budgets.
• Enforce workplace safety, food safety, ergonomics, and sanitation standards across all store departments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive retail management or store operations leadership experience.
• Proven track record of managing P&L statements, operational budgets, and inventory controls.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical retail duties, including heavy lifting (up to 45 lbs), standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time (100% On-Site).
• Schedule: Flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational store needs.
