Role Description

Tailored for college students with morning or daytime class schedules, the ALDI Student Evening Store Associate position offers late-afternoon and evening shifts that fit cleanly around daytime lectures and labs. Evening student associates assist with peak after-work customer rushes at POS registers, lead evening aisle restocking, front-face grocery displays, and assist with store recovery and closing routines. This position provides steady part-time income without conflicting with daytime university classes. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store (no remote work available).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate seated POS cash registers during evening peak shopping hours, scanning items quickly and handling transactions accurately.
• Restock fast-turning evening merchandise across grocery, beverage, dairy, and freezer departments.
• Front-face sales floor aisles, clearing cardboard packaging and organizing product displays for morning readiness.
• Assist evening shoppers politely, resolving product location questions and handling customer inquiries.
• Execute closing floor sweeps, sanitize register belts, and collect shopping carts from parking areas.
• Support shift leads with store closing security and facility sanitation routines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical institution (or High School Diploma/GED).
• Availability to work late afternoon and evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
• Physical capability to perform retail tasks (lifting up to 45 lbs, standing, bending, walking).
• Strong time management, reliability, and team-oriented attitude.
