Role Description
Located at our regional distribution centers, the ALDI Student Warehouse Associate position offers college students a high-paying, active logistics role with flexible shift options. Student warehouse associates assist with inbound freight receiving, case sorting, order staging, and loading store delivery trailers using modern electric pallet jacks and material handling equipment. This position provides excellent physical work, top hourly pay rates, and valuable experience in industrial logistics and supply chain management. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the distribution facility (no remote options allowed).
Key Responsibilities
- Safely unload supplier delivery trailers using electric pallet jacks, staging product pallets in receiving bays.
- Select and sort case inventory across dry grocery, cooler, and freezer temperature zones.
- Transport verified merchandise from receiving lanes into assigned warehouse storage bays.
- Assist order selectors and loading teams with staging completed store pallets on outbound dock lanes.
- Maintain warehouse aisle cleanliness, managing cardboard compactors and recycling units.
- Follow strict industrial safety, equipment pre-trip inspection, and dock security guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited college, university, or vocational school (or High School Diploma/GED).
- Physical capability to perform heavy warehouse labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing.
- Strong teamwork, attention to safety, and reliable attendance.
- Flexibility to work part-time shifts, including evening or weekend options.
