Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Store Associate, you rotate through every core function of the store during a single shift — operating the register, stocking and rotating inventory on the sales floor, and maintaining the clean, organized store presentation that ALDI customers expect on every visit.

• Fast, Accurate Checkout: Operate the register with the speed and accuracy ALDI's high-volume, cart-based checkout model requires — scanning items efficiently, processing payments without delay, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer count at the start and end of every shift with zero tolerance for unexplained variance.
• Sales Floor Stocking & Rotation: Stock incoming pallets directly onto the sales floor using ALDI's efficient shelf-ready packaging system, rotating older product to the front of each section using first-in-first-out principles, and immediately pulling any item that fails a freshness or damage check before a customer can select it.
• Store Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and organized store throughout the shift — sweeping and mopping as needed, collecting and returning shopping carts from the parking lot on a rotating schedule, and straightening shelf displays so every aisle presents the way ALDI's store standards require.
