Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI District Manager, you hold full operational and financial accountability for a portfolio of ALDI stores — coaching Store Managers on P&L performance, enforcing operating and merchandising standards across the district, and making the staffing, capital, and vendor decisions that drive the district's overall sales and profitability results.

• Multi-Store P&L Review: Conduct weekly performance reviews with each Store Manager in the district — analyzing sales, labor cost percentage, and shrink against target for every location, and building a specific corrective action plan with any Store Manager whose store is trending unfavorably against the district's overall budget.
• Store Manager Coaching & Development: Coach and develop the district's Store Manager team through regular in-store visits and structured performance conversations, identifying high-potential Assistant Store Managers ready for their own store and building a bench of promotion-ready talent across the district.
• Operating Standard Enforcement: Audit each store in the district against ALDI's operating, merchandising, and safety standards on a rotating visit schedule, documenting any gap and following up to confirm correction before the next scheduled visit, ensuring consistent customer experience across every store in the territory.
