Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Warehouse Loader, you load outbound trailers with staged store pallets — verifying load accuracy against the shipping manifest and securing each load to prevent shifting in transit.
- Trailer Loading Sequence: Load pallets into the trailer in the sequence specified by the store's delivery route, positioning heavier and more stable pallets first to protect product during transit.
- Load Verification: Check each pallet's load tag against the shipping manifest before loading, flagging any missing, damaged, or mismatched pallet to the shift supervisor rather than loading it.
- Load Securement & Dock Safety: Secure the completed load with straps or load bars as required, confirm the trailer door seal number matches the paperwork, and follow all dock safety procedures when trailers are being spotted or pulled.
