Position Summary: As an ALDI Retail Attendant, you focus on overall store facility maintenance, shopping cart management, customer service assistance, and sales floor presentation. You ensure that entrance areas, cart corrals, register lanes, and customer restrooms remain clean, safe, and fully supplied. This position strictly requires 100% physical on-site presence at the store location (no work-from-home capability).
Key Duties & Expectations: Retrieve shopping carts from parking lot corrals, organize entrance cart bays cleanly, and sanitize cart handles continuously. Perform routine store sweeps, monitor floor safety, clean up aisle spills immediately, and empty packaging waste receptacles. Assist shoppers by answering store inquiries, locating items, and providing backup cashiering support during busy shopping periods.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Requires strong physical stamina to work outdoors in parking areas and indoors across sales floors, lifting up to 45 lbs, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
