Role Description

ALDI Direct Entry Store Managers bring external retail management experience directly into ALDI's streamlined business model. Following a comprehensive accelerated onboarding curriculum, you assume full operational ownership of a high-volume retail grocery store. You lead store associate hiring, direct merchandising strategies, manage P&L budgets, and foster a high-performance team culture. This role offers top-tier executive compensation and performance bonuses for proven retail leaders. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the store (zero remote capability).

Key Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for store financial metrics, P&L management, and operational efficiency.
• Lead store talent acquisition, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of store associates and leads.
• Provide continuous staff mentoring, performance evaluations, and leadership development.
• Manage product ordering, inventory counts, loss prevention protocols, and price accuracy.
• Oversee store merchandising execution, product presentation, and promotional displays.
• Ensure total compliance with workplace safety, food handling, and cleanliness regulations.
• Maintain positive community relationships and resolve customer feedback professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of direct experience as a General Manager or Store Manager in retail, grocery, or big-box store environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing P&L statements, store budgets, and team development.
• Strong decision-making, physical stamina, and communication skills.

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time (100% On-Site).
• Schedule: Full-time executive schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
