Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Opening Shift Manager, you lead pre-opening shift operations, manage morning inventory receiving, verify cash safes, and oversee early store readiness.

• Pre-Opening Facility Management: Disarm store security systems, conduct morning safety walks, verify register safe balances, and assign opening register tills.
• Morning Delivery Oversight: Oversee morning freight delivery unloading, verify piece counts on manifests, and assign stockers to high-turnover grocery aisles.
• Opening Customer Readiness: Ensure sales floor aisles are clear of cardboard, confirm fresh food department presentation, and open store entrances precisely on schedule.
