Role Description

Designed specifically for graduating college seniors and recent university graduates, the ALDI College Senior Graduate Trainee position offers a direct bridge from campus graduation into corporate retail leadership. Entering our structured Store Manager Trainee track upon graduation, trainees undergo hands-on management development covering store financial budgeting, P&L management, talent recruitment, inventory forecasting, and operational leadership. Upon successful completion of training, graduates step directly into full Store Manager roles managing multi-million-dollar retail locations. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside training store facilities (zero remote capability).

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive operational training across cashiering, inventory stocking, product ordering, and store upkeep.
• Master store P&L financial management, labor budgeting, expense control, and inventory loss prevention.
• Practice recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding store associates and shift leads.
• Prepare weekly employee work schedules and analyze store labor efficiency metrics.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace safety, food handling, and customer service standards.
• Assume gradual operational management responsibilities under the guidance of experienced Store Managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Graduating college senior or recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree (Business, Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in campus organizations, athletics, internships, or prior retail employment.
• Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical capability for retail management work (lifting up to 45 lbs, standing, bending, walking).

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time / Graduate Management Track (100% On-Site).
• Schedule: Full-time rotating executive schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
