Role Description

Designed for college students with afternoon or evening classes, the ALDI Student Morning Freight Stocker position allows students to complete their work shift early in the day before campus lectures begin. Arriving early before store opening hours, student morning stockers assist in offloading daily delivery trucks, restocking fresh produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods, and preparing store aisles for morning shoppers. This role offers an energetic, physical morning routine, competitive pay, and the ability to finish work early so afternoons remain open for classes and study. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store with zero work-from-home availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload early morning logistics trucks, receiving merchandise pallets using powered pallet jacks.
• Break down delivery pallets and restock store sections according to ALDI merchandising planograms.
• Audit expiration dates, execute strict FIFO product rotation, and remove damaged goods.
• Condition sales floor aisles, ensuring clean display shelves, aligned price signage, and clear walkways.
• Operate cardboard compactors and waste balers, keeping stockrooms clean and organized.
• Perform morning facility safety sweeps prior to customer entrance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade program (or High School Diploma/GED).
• Ability to work early morning hours consistently (e.g., shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM).
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs independently, stand, bend, reach, and push heavy equipment.
• Strong punctuality, teamwork, and time-management skills.

• Job Type: Part-Time / Student Position (100% On-Site).
• Schedule: Early morning shifts (e.g., 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM) designed to end before college classes start.
