Position Summary: As an ALDI Lead Grocery Packer & Checker, you serve as a subject-matter expert on front-end register efficiency, scan speed standards, customer service escalations, and cashier peer coaching. While actively operating point-of-sale registers, you assist shift leads by directing line queue flow and training new team members. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the retail store (zero remote availability).
Key Duties & Expectations: Execute rapid item scanning at POS registers while managing cash, card, and electronic payment transactions accurately. Monitor register line queues, calling backup cashiers as customer volume increases to maintain fast throughput.
